The next time you visit York, swing by the York Olive Oil Company and experience a little bit of Southern France in the Avon Valley.

At the York Olive Oil Company you can enjoy a romantic stroll or picnic in our beautiful olive groves, watch olive oil being made, and sample our award winning Extra Virgin Olive Oil at its freshest.  We also produce delicious tapenade, jams, ice-cream and chocolates.  And, they’re all available to purchase in our factory shop, along with our Extra Virgin Olive Oil – straight from the press!

Olive Pressing
During harvest time, from April to July, the York Olive Oil Company provides an olive crushing service for olive growers from all over WA.  We invite you to come along and watch the process.

How to Find Us
The York Olive Oil Company is located on the outskirts of York.  You’ll find us on Ashworth Road, off the Great Southern Highway, 8kms west of York.  We are open Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays between 10am and 5pm, and at other times by appointment.

About Us
The York Olive Oil Co. was founded in 1997 by Frenchman, Arnaud Courtin.

In 2001, Adriano Giacomel, the York Olive Oil Company’s most enthusiastic client, invested in a new building to house a commercial olive press and adjoining retail shop.  At the same time, Jenny Baxter, a neighbour and fellow olive grower, joined the partnership.

Today, Arnaud and Jenny operate the business whilst Andy provides financial and technical support.
