The York Ice Cream Company’s ice cream was initially created to satisfy the tastebuds of our friends and neighbours.  They loved it so much we entered it in the Perth Royal Show, and a few medals later, decided to offer it to our valued customers.

Made here in small batches, our popular ice cream is available only from our retail shop.  Current varieties include Jarrah Honey, Chocolate, Salted Caramel, Chocolate Hazelnut (shouldn’t call it “Nutella”), Lemon Sorbet, Liquorice (made with real Pontefract Cakes from England), Macadamia, Mango (made with this season’s tree-ripened Kensington Pride mangoes from Carnarvon), Nougat, Raspberry Sorbet, Rum and Raisins, Espresso, Pistachio, Strawberry and Vanilla. Our Vanilla ice cream is prepared using SEVEN fresh Madagascan bourbon vanilla pods per litre of milk. Our latest creation is frozen yoghurts, naturally low in fat and flavoured with Passionfruit. We use seasonally-available ingredients (no artificial flavours anywhere) so some varieties are not available all year round.
