Olive Pressing Start Date: 28 April 2025

We have experienced a delayed start to this year’s olive processing season due to a mechanical breakdown.

The good news is that the centrifuge has been repaired and balanced and is being tested. It will be freighted back from Melbourne after Easter and we will have it up and running on Monday 28th April.

Because of the delay we will be running 24 hours a day to cope with the backlog so bookings are more essential than ever. Call Arnaud or Jenny on 0429 412 200 (and leave a message if we can’t answer) or send an email to info@yorkoliveoil.com.au

NOT OPEN FOR PROCESSING UNTIL MAY

Due to mechanical issues with our olive press we are currently unable to take any bookings for olive oil processing.

At this stage (6th April 2025) we are expecting the machinery to be back up and running in May.

In the meantime we are trying to make alternative arrangements for our regular customers but the best option would be to delay harvesting your olives until a way can be found to process them.

To paraphrase the Captain of British Airways flight BA009: “We have a small problem. Our olive press has stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get it going again. I trust you are not in too much distress.
