New Ice Cream Flavours

Announcing two new flavours of ice cream, Mango, made with this season’s tree-ripened Kensington Pride mangoes from Carnarvon, WA, and Liquorice, made with genuine Pontefract Cakes from Yorkshire.

Our thirteen other current flavours are Vanilla, Jarrah Honey, Salted Caramel, Macadamia, Chocolate, Chocolate-Hazelnut (Nutella), Pistachio, Rum & Raisin, Espresso, Nougat, Strawberry, Lemon Sorbet and Raspberry Sorbet.

All made here in small batches at our premises in the Shire of York, using only the finest ingredients and no artificial flavours anywhere. In the words of one happy customer: “Your licorice ice cream was a magical experience, it’s a mystical fantasy flavour that was just fun to eat. The mango was beautiful and sweet, loved every mouthful. The thing I love about them is that they are indeed sweet but don’t leave that lingering overly sweet taste in your mouth. Don’t ask me to pick a favourite as they are all unique.” (Gordon M., 4 March 2013)

Our ice creams are available from our retail shop in York, from Fudo in Malaga and from Penny Farthing Sweets in York. Our Pashley vintage ice cream tricycle will also be making an appearance over the Easter weekend at the Avon Valley Vintage Festival in Northam; Saturday 30th March to Monday 1st April, Northam Recreation Centre, 10am to 4pm daily. Introducing Our New Workhorse …

We have upgraded our olive oil press ready for the upcoming 2013 harvest season. Just landed from Italy is our new Pieralisi Effe 3 centrifugal extractor (decanter) which has double the capacity of our old one so we will be able to press your olives more quickly and more efficiently. The rest of the press remains the same, so it’s still a two-phase, continual extraction process with no water added, and we are still using the separator at the end of the line to remove any excess sediment and moisture. The capacity of our press might be bigger this year but we still welcome small batches; no minimum quantity of olives is required.
