Spring Flowers Now in Full Bloom

Spring has arrived in the Wheatbelt and our Everlasting daisies are now on display here and along the road verges.

Why not try growing some at home? It’s not too late to plant, but time is of the essence. Plant in pots or make sure your soil is not compacted so the roots can easily penetrate and make a quick start. If it stops raining make sure they are watered to extend the growing season.

Seeds are available in our retail shop on Ashworth Road or from Lucinda’s Everlastings, along with plenty of tips and advice.

Hand-picked heritage – Northern Valleys News

A delightful cover story by Tamieka Preston in the May edition of the Northern Valleys News, entitled “Hand-picked heritage”, about the annual olive harvest from the historic trees at the Benedictine Community of New Norcia. We have been processing their olives for many years now.

Utes and trailers being piled with fruit every couple of days will join others from small to medium holdings around the state in the annual pilgrimage to York.

Start of the 2023 Olive Season and Easter Opening Hours

Easter is here and it marks the traditional start of the olive processing season in W.A. We have already started crushing the first early batches and are now taking bookings. If you are new to olive growing do make sure you pick your olives at the right time by reading this: Knowing When to Pick Your Olives

Our retail shop will be open everyday over the long Easter Weekend:

Good Friday (7 April) 10am to 5pm
Easter Saturday (8 April) 10am to 5pm
Easter Sunday (9 April) 10am to 5pm
Easter Monday (10 April) 10am to 5pm
